We are getting ready to travel once again, shortly. But before we do so, just a bit of retrospective on the holiday season that has just passed.
We spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Des Moines, but rented a house through Airbnb to accommodate the entire family.
Christmas was in the Twin Cities. Brandon had to work over the holiday, so Sarah is to be commended for taking on the task of driving solo, with kids, first to Des Moines — to pick up great-grandparents — and then on to Minneapolis.
Kids from snow-deprived areas got the chance to sled and skate.
Matt’s parents host a wonderful holiday party each year for family and friends. Clara was a bit overwhelmed by the “Big Party,” but managed to pose for some multi-generation photos.
